With over three years of teaching under our belts, we've mentally collected our fair share of advice and experiences that we'd love to pass along to our fellow teaching professionals. Hopefully you can both learn something from our successes, and avoid making the same mistakes we did. This section is dedicated to you and to this crazy (in every sense of the word) career life path that we've all chosen for ourselves. To our NON teacher friends and family, be sure to follow this page and laugh - or cry - with us (at us?). Perhaps we can attempt to better make you understand why we need to replenish our beer/wine stock on a daily basis. How we've managed to cross off at least 300 names from our potential future baby-naming list. Where all of our leisure time went (leisure? what's leisure?). What makes us incredibly moody at certain times of year (I'll give you a hint - starts with 'report' and ends with 'cards'). Who is on our secret death list for ever mentioning how lucky teachers are for 'having the whole summer off'.

You know you're a teacher when...
100. You dream you get attacked by a shark during your upcoming trip to Mexico... and the shark is your principal.
99. You're out in public and you feel a strong urge to correct a random child's behavior.
98. You never sit down without first checking the seat of a chair.
97. You've mastered the art of eating a full lunch in 1 minute, 18 seconds.
96. You've trained your bladder to empty itself once in the morning, once at lunch, and once after school.
95. You empty your pant pockets to do the laundry and you find a drawing of Satan, a pencil eraser, a rubber band, and a gold coin.
94. You subconsciously pick up litter when you walk on the street and in public buildings.
